Miguel S. Moreira
Co-founder of Valido Home
Miguel S. Moreira is an architect and building engineer, co-founder of Valido Home and specialist in complex real estate transactions, where technical, legal and economic analysis must fit precisely for an investment to make sense.
Since 2010 he has developed his professional career between Spain and Panama, working in residential projects as well as in integral reforms and real estate operations where the risk is not always evident at first sight. This experience has allowed him to build a global vision of the sector, especially useful when a poorly made decision can have consequences that are difficult to reverse.
From 2020 onwards he actively specializes in real estate auctions, both judicial and Tax Agency, participating directly as successful bidder in real operations of homes, land, garages and storage rooms. His knowledge of the sector is not theoretical, but practical, the result of having managed complete files and knowing first hand the mistakes that cost the most money in this type of operations.
On a day-to-day basis, he works with judicial auctions, auction assignments and judicial assets, including precariously occupied properties, where the prior analysis and control of the procedure are decisive. An essential part of his work consists of identifying when a transaction is viable and when, no matter how much of a discount it may seem, it involves risks that do not pay off.
Miguel combines this experience with a continuous work of real estate valuation and profitability calculation, integrating acquisition price, real costs of refurbishment, legal risks, urban situation and exit strategy. His approach goes beyond the price per square meter: he analyzes the whole transaction to determine whether the profitability is real or only apparent.
Another key area of his activity is technical due diligence and the legalization of properties in an irregular situation, especially in properties coming from auctions, inheritances or complex administrative situations. In these cases, he coordinates technical criteria, urban knowledge and legal advice to anticipate future problems.
Miguel works mainly with real estate investors and wealthy individuals, people who are looking to make informed decisions and understand exactly what they are buying before committing capital. One of the most common mistakes he detects in the sector is entering into auctions or complex transactions without really knowing the process, the deadlines and the technical, fiscal and urban planning implications.
Valido Home's role is to provide clarity, structure and professional criteria in operations where there is no room for improvisation. Its objective is not to sell opportunities, but to help make informed decisions and avoid mistakes that are often costly.
